Water main break causes flooding, loss of water in South Allentown

A water main break has caused flooding throughout the city of Allentown’s SouthSide & many residents have lost access to water or are experiencing cloudy water in their homes. The 36 inch break occurred between Mack Blvd. & 12th street at about 7AM this morning. Lehigh County Authorities crews are working to fix the break, though they say it could take days for city water to return to normal.
