On This Day: Purple Haze

On this day 16 years ago, Cam’Ron released “Purple Haze”, his 4th studio album. Selling 123,000 first week, “Purple Haze featured hit singles like “Down & Out” ft. Kanye West, “Get Em Girls” & the classic, “Killa Cam”. The Album would eventually go Certified Gold, with Cam’ron stating that he believes “Purple Haze” to be his best body of work. 15 years later, Cam’Ron would release the sequel: “Purple Haze 2”.
