On This Day: “In Da Club”

On this day 18 years ago, 50 Cent released “In Da Club”, classic hit single from his “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” debut. In Da Club was produced by the Legendary Dr. Dre & reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming 50’s first #1 single of his career. 50 Cent won Best New Artist at the 2003 MTV VMA’s & also Best Rap Video for “In Da Club”. That same year at the 46th annual Grammy’s, the song was nominated for Best Rap Song & Best Male Rap Solo Performance.
