On this day 22 years ago, Redman released “Doc’s Da Name 2000”, his 4th studio album. Debuting at #1 on the Us Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, the Brick City King’s 3rd #1 Album; but debuted just outside the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 at #11. Just two months later, The Album would go 2x Certified Platinum selling over 2 million units. “Doc’s Da Name” featured 3 singles, “I’ll Be Dat”, “Da Goodness” & “Let Da Monkey Out”.
