On this day 29 years ago, 2Pac released “2Pacalypse Now”, hit debut studio album. This album who solidify Pac as a solo artist, featuring hits such as “Brenda’s Got a Baby”, “Trapped” & “If My Homies Call”, would help the go Gold by 1995 & sell over 1 million copies to date. This early part of 2Pac’s music career would be remembered for his content introspective story telling about the truths of racism, the struggles in the Black Community, teenage pregnancy & police brutality; a stark difference from his gangster oriented content once he moved to the West Coast & joined Death Row Records.
